We are now accepting donations toward our cause. If you’re interested, please visit our the page on Zeffy.
We’ve set a goal to raise $5,000. This will help us accomplish a few things:
- Ensure we have the right materials and equipment to build a customer base. We want to provide unique services to the area and this will help us expand the crafts we support.
- Ensure we can pay rent and utilities for the first couple months. We’re a brand new non-profit and we’re building it from the ground up. A portion of the donations will secure rent and utilities for a few months of operation.
- Allow us to participate in community outreach. Community is our main focus. We will be able to secure a booth at events in the area to spread our reach.
Corporate Donation Match
If your employer matches donations, feel free to use this form to make your donations go even farther: Google Drive Document.
Some employers use a portal to match charitable contributions. If this is the case, reach out to the information on the Contact page and we will ensure we’re available on your employer’s portal.
Sponsorships
If you or the company you work for is interested in making a financial contribution through sponsorships, please reach out to us using the information on the Contact page. We’re looking forward to hearing from you.
Q&A
What do donations go toward?
Donations largely go toward keeping the facilities open to the public for as long as possible. Any surplus in donations will be funneled back into expanding the number of crafts we support and reaching more markets to make art in the area more accessible.
How do I know you won’t take my money and run?
In the interest of complete transparency, we are locked into a three-year lease with the facilities. We’re in so we’re in this for the long haul. We’re going to be here offering art programs you may as well use them! If it seems like a project that aligns with you personally, consider donating or becoming a member to keep the building open even longer.
Why are donations handled through a third-party?
We manage our donations and memberships through Zeffy because it’s free and they don’t take a cut of your contributions. They are to recoup their operating costs through tips so they don’t take a cut from what you contribute us.
